“Magnus” is a super-hero dog and was originally created by Philip and me in 1993. I painted him here using acrylic and water-colour.
He was published in 7 books and copyrighted at the time. After many years – we have decided to revamp him and to bring him back for both children and adults to enjoy. We are currently working on this web-site and the lovable robot dog.
The image shows Magnus (an agent for the Earth Defence Programme) confronting the Imperial Martian Leader on Mars. The planet has reached an intolerable state and Magnus learns a terrible secret. The Martian Leader plans to protect his civilisation’s survival, which threatens planet Earth itself.
