I am pleased to announce that Capall Bann Publishing have accepted my book ‘TWIN SOULS’ which will be released mid 2012 and which encompasses both mine and Philip’s lives as twins; delving into the supernatural incidents that occurred since we were children. It is a truthful account and is also illustrated.

The book also describes our close relationship, how Philip and I started drawing and writing, along with the difficulties of pursuing a dream. It details the many pitfalls of just such ventures and will hopefully be inspirational to those who are attempting to achieve their own goals in life.

AN EVENING IN THE GARDEN

Here is a sketch of Magnus frolicking in the garden, one fine Summer’s evening. This shows his inquisitiveness with the wildlife (hence the butterfly) and, for him, it is a moment of curiosity; even for a robot! I believe this sketch encapsulates an alternative world of wonderment and freedom.

This is a personal favourite of mine (Ronnie) as I did a few paintings with Magnus the Micro-Mutt accompanying Her Majesty the Queen on an outing. This was done around 7 years ago and I found it in my filing cabinet while rooting for some documents. This was painted on hard white card using watercolour, though I have moved on to acrylic. Looking at it now, I can see a whole host of problems with angles and the-like (being the perfectionist that I am) though it does seem to hold a certain degree of charm, for me. Philip and I have always had the utmost respect for the Queen and thought it highly amusing that we should include the dog with Her Majesty, having just departed an aircraft from diplomatic talks abroad. The cheeky little mutt is lapping up the occasion!

New Concept for Imperial Martian Leader

This is a rough format for the up-coming project ‘MAGNUS THE MICRO-MUTT & THE MARTIAN MASTER-PLAN.’ Our manager for Magnus has agreed that we should attempt a comic-book style approach- in full colour – and we are looking at perhaps around 45-50 pages at max. The book will take around a year and a half to complete due to the detail we plan to provide and the lengthy process of drawing and colouring … but it will be worth the wait we’re sure you will agree!

‘The Ungodly Agenda’ – Second Alien Concept Image

The second alien image is now here – this being the Rakonian Commander ‘CRUEX’. Philip and I gave a lot of thought to detail with these extra-terrestrials; their uniforms being ornate but striking. These are only ideas drawn out and the reader may have a slightly different view of them when reading the novel. It is a dark tale of brutal betrayal and an insatiable desire – on the human’s part – to gain technological advances from the aliens … but at a price! However, the Rakonians are smart, plotting their clever and devious agenda in a mask of lies and intrigue.
